Helsinki Area, Finland | On-site | Project Assignment
Nordic Power Consulting (NPC) is looking for an experienced Electrical & Fire Alarm Coordinator for an upcoming data center project in Finland.
The assignment is expected to start around November and be ongoing for around 10 months located in the Helsinki area.
About the role
In this role, you will be part of the project organization on site, coordinating activities related to electrical installations and fire alarm/smoke detection systems.
You will work closely with contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders to ensure that installations and activities are properly coordinated and progress according to the project requirements.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working in an international project environment and who can maintain a clear overview of interfaces between different disciplines.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate electrical and fire alarm/smoke detection activities on site
Support coordination between contractors, suppliers and the wider project organization
Follow up installation progress and identify potential issues or interfaces
Participate in site and coordination meetings
Support technical coordination and ensure that relevant project requirements are followed
Communicate progress, constraints and coordination matters to relevant project stakeholders
Contribute to a safe, structured and quality-focused project execution
Your profile
We are looking for someone with relevant experience from electrical installations, fire alarm systems, smoke detection or related technical systems.
Experience from data centers, large industrial projects or technically complex construction projects is highly desirable.
We believe you have:
Relevant technical background within electrical engineering, installation or similar
Experience coordinating contractors and technical installations on site
Good understanding of electrical systems and/or fire alarm and smoke detection systems
Experience from large-scale construction, industrial or data center projects
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Professional working proficiency in English
Experience from projects in Finland or the Nordic region is considered an advantage.
